Why just have a hot dog or polish sausage in a bun? This is one of the 2 of the menu items from Umai Savory Hot Dogs, an upscale Hot Dog restaurant in San Francisco we have recreated!

Ingredients

 

Sourdough Hot Dog Bun

Hot dog of your choice

Diced red onion

Dill pickle spears, finely sliced lengthwise

Diced Roma tomato

Pepproncini slices

Dijon mustard  

1. Fire up your grill.  Brown the hot dog on all sides

2. Spread some dijon on one side of the bun.

3. Place the hot dog in the bun.  Nestle in the dill pickle slices next to the dog.  Top with the tomato, onions and pepperoncini.

4. Serve and ENJOY!
